GOT7 is back in business, this time, they are partnering with Kakao Entertainment for their long-awaited comeback in January 2025.
On December 20, Kakao Entertainment revealed that GOT7 will drop their mini-album ‘WINTER HEPTAGON’ on January 20, 2025, kicking off their first full-group activities in nearly three years. All group members are reuniting for their first full-scale activities since 2022.
To celebrate GOT7’s 11th debut anniversary, seven members have come together to create a special album, ‘WINTER HEPTAGON’, as a heartfelt thank-you to their fans. Kakao Entertainment will oversee the album’s planning and production.
The label will leverage its music expertise to highlight GOT7’s unique identity and charms in this comeback album.
GOT7 leader Jay B sparked excitement at his solo concert ‘TAPE: RE LOAD’, attended by members Mark and Youngjae, with a surprise announcement of the group’s January comeback. Now, with confirmation of the full-group album’s release date, anticipation has reached an all-time high.
GOT7 has carved out a distinct identity by blending hip-hop, R&B, and other genres. Notably, all members contributed to the production process. Their 2022 self-titled EP ‘GOT7’ soared to No. 1 on iTunes Top Album charts in 95 regions.
GOT7 will release a new album after a 3-year hiatus and showcase their musical growth. The members, who have pursued solo projects, will reunite to drop a full-length album with enhanced music and performances.
Ahead of their album release on January 20, GOT7 will begin accepting pre-orders through major music platforms. Fans can also expect a series of teaser content, released sequentially on the group’s official social media channels.
