It was reported by a Korean media outlet on November 30 that they will make a comeback in January.

After the discharge of Jay B and Jinyoung, Jackson Wang and Mark returned to Korea to work with other GOT7 members on their hugely awaited comeback album.

Member BamBam has a history of spilling the beans about the group’s comeback plans. He has done it again, this time revealing the release details of their upcoming album before the official announcement.

The Thai-born K-pop idol announced the comeback date by sharing a photo of a billboard, which reads, “GOT7 is coming back on January 20th.” It was also written, “And everyone needs to know so I bought this billboard.”

The highly-anticipated comeback is happening after three years, with their last release in 2022. They made their last comeback with the self-titled EP “GOT7” in March 2022 and went on hiatus as members began military service.

Last month, Jay B and Jinyoung finished their military service and are back to their activities. Jay B was discharged on November 1 and quickly released a solo album. Jinyoung is now filming a drama with Park Bo Young after getting discharged on November 7.

According to reports, GOT7 is currently in the studio recording and putting the finishing touches on their new album. All members are in Korea and actively participating in the recording sessions. Fans are eagerly awaiting an official announcement about the group’s highly anticipated comeback album, which is likely to happen soon.
