GOT7’s Jinyoung Completes Military Service: BamBam and Yugyeom Attend Discharge Ceremony

GOT7 member and actor Jinyoung is discharged from military service today, November 7, after fulfilling his 18-month duty.

After entering basic training on May 8, 2023, the 30-year-old singer served in the 11th Army Division.

At the discharge ceremony, GOT7 members BamBam and Yugyeom were present to show their support. They hugged him enthusiastically and welcomed him back to the spotlight.

He also talked to the fans there, revealing his plans after the military discharge. Jinyoung shared that he will begin filming the drama “Unknown Seoul” with Park Bo Young in a week or two. 

In addition, he will work on his solo comeback and GOT7’s long-awaited album with the group members. 

On November 1, another GOT7 member Jay B was discharged from the military. His agency MAUVE Company confirmed that he will make a solo comeback in late November. 

Previously, BamBam has repeatedly given spoilers about the GOT7 reunion in 2025. It is predicted that the group will begin working on their comeback with a goal for an early 2025 release.

On another note, Jinyoung is also in talks to star in the drama “The Witch” opposite Roh Jeong Eui, in which he plays a data analyst.
