Singer Song Ga In is gearing up for a comeback with her 4th full-length album. On top of that, she has tapped a talented actress to bring her title track to life.
Han Ji Hyun, known for her roles in popular dramas, has been cast as the female lead in the music video for her upcoming title track.
On February 3, YTN exclusively reported that Han Ji Hyun had been cast as the lead in the music video for “Asadal”. It is one of the title tracks from Song Ga In’s upcoming 4th album “Ga-in;Dal”.
“Asadal” draws inspiration from the ancient legend of Asadal, the mastermind behind the majestic Seokgatap Pagoda at Bulguksa Temple in Gyeongju.
In the music video, she is set to play a historical figure for the first time in her acting career.
Han Ji Hyun is a talented alumna of the Korea National University of Arts’ Department of Theater. She received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Joo Seok Kyung in the 2020 hit drama “Penthouse.”
She then took on her first lead role in the SBS drama “Cheer Up” and has been expanding her filmography since. The 28-year-old actress has made notable appearances in projects like the TVING original series “Spice Up Our Love” and KBS2’s “Face Me.”
Lastly, Song Ga In is set to unveil her 4th full-length album, “Ga-in;Dal”, on February 11 at 6 PM, available on various online music sites.
