Hearts2Hearts members are generating a huge buzz ahead of their debut on February 24.
A member of SM Entertainment’s newest girl group has already been selected as MC for a popular music show ‘Show! Music Core’. It is none other than A-na, a 16-year-old member of Hearts2Hearts.
Sports Chosun exclusively reported on February 10, Hearts To Hearts’ A-na has been chosen as the newest host of MBC’s popular music program “Show! Music Core”. She will co-host alongside Kim Gyuvin of ZEROBASEONE and Dohoon of TWS.
The talented trio will take the reins from current hosts Sullyoon of NMIXX, Younghoon of THE BOYZ, and actor Lee Jung Ha starting March 1.
What’s particularly noteworthy is the 16-year-old K-pop star becoming an MC on a major terrestrial music show, mere days after her debut. Just five days after her official debut on February 24, A-na will take on a fixed MC role, a remarkable feat for a K-pop rookie.
Her dual debut on “Show! Music Core” as both a performer and MC is already building anticipation.
As SM Entertainment’s first girl group debut since aespa, Hearts2Hearts is generating high expectations. Following their introductory reveal at SM’s 30th-anniversary “SMTOWN LIVE” concert, the group has been steadily building hype with global fans through various pre-debut teasers.
The “Show! Music Core” production team has been searching for fresh faces to appeal to global K-pop fans and the show’s young audience. They discovered A-na, the talented visual member of Hearts2Hearts, born in 2008, and chose her as the show’s new MC.
Kim Gyuvin from ZEROBASEONE and TWS’ Dohoon have already proven themselves as skilled hosts. Gyuvin was a special MC on “Show! Music Core” five times last year, while Dohoon has experience as a special MC on the show and as the host of the “2024 MBC Gayo Daejejeon”.
