SM Entertainment’s upcoming girl group Hearts2Hearts is generating massive buzz ahead of their debut!
While the debut teaser was released at SMTOWN LIVE 2025, information about members remained under wraps until now.
During the ‘SMTOWN LIVE 2025 concert at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on January 12th, a video announcement revealed the upcoming debut of a new girl group.
It is the label’s first girl group debut in five years, following aespa’s launch in 2020. Moreover, Hearts2Hearts is SM Entertainment’s first girl group to feature a large member lineup since Girls’ Generation.

The new girl group’s name, “Hearts2Hearts”, represents the connection between the group and their global fans. The name signifies the group’s goal of building a strong bond with their audience through their music.

Hearts2Hearts is an 8-member girl group that marks a return to the multi-member format last seen with Girls’ Generation. The group consists of members with various backgrounds and skills.
Individual profiles for members will be released at a later date.
Over the years, SM has introduced many talented and popular K-pop girl groups such as S.E.S, M.I.L.K, Shinvi, Isak N Jiyeon, Girls’ Generation, f(x), Red Velvet, and aespa.
Therefore, expectations are high that Hearts2Hearts will achieve unprecedented success in the K-pop and global market.
Hearts2Hearts Debut
Hearts2Hearts will officially debut on February 24, with full-scale promotions beginning at the end of January. As SM Entertainment’s first new girl group in about 5 years, following aespa’s 2020 debut, curiosity is building around their unique sound and performances.
SM Entertainment initially announced Hearts2Hearts’ debut for the fourth quarter of 2023. However, the debut timeline was revised several times, with new target dates set for the early last year and 2nd half of 2024 before being rescheduled again to the first quarter of 2025.
