On October 31, RBW confirmed the news via the official statement, stating, “Following in-depth discussions, Hiroto and Lee Yong Joon, who have been members of NXD, have mutually agreed to end their exclusive contracts as of October 31, bringing their pre-debut activities to a close.”

The label apologized to the fans, “We apologize for any concern this sudden news may cause to fans. We kindly ask that you refrain from speculation or misunderstandings as this decision was made thoughtfully with respect for the individuals’ wishes. We also encourage you to support Hiroto and Lee Yong Joon as they embark on their new journeys.”

RBW also shared an update about how the group will move forward and their long-awaited debut, “NXD is concluding its pre-debut phase and preparing for an exciting debut with new members joining the original lineup of Hwang Jae Min, Park Hyeong Geun, and Kang Dae Hyun. We are dedicated to providing the best support to make the highly anticipated debut announcement soon.”

NXD is a K-pop boy group under RBW Entertainment, now consisting of three members: Jaemin, Hyeong Geun, and Daehyun. Former members include Hiroto and Yongjoon.

NXD released a pre-debut single in November 2023 and is expected to debut in 2024.
