Honey Lee (also known as Lee Hanee) has joyfully welcomed her second child. According to her agency, TEAMHOPE, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl on August 24, 2025. Both mother and daughter are doing well, and Lee is resting peacefully, surrounded by her family’s care and love.
The agency added,
We deeply thank everyone who has offered their prayers and heartfelt support. We kindly ask that you continue to watch over actress Lee Hanee and her family with warm blessings and love.
Honey Lee married a non-celebrity in December 2021 and welcomed their first daughter in June 2022. Now, nearly three years later, she welcomed her second child and is now a mother of two.
Despite her advanced pregnancy, Honey Lee remained committed to her career. On August 18, just days before giving birth, she appeared at the production presentation for her Netflix series Aema.
At the Aema conference, when asked why she chose to appear in public so close to her due date, Honey Lee replied,
I think it shows just how much affection I have for this project. I am currently very healthy, and the delivery is scheduled for next week.
Honey Lee, born in 1983, first gained attention after winning Miss Korea in 2006 and placing as third runner-up in Miss Universe 2007. She later built a strong acting career with roles in films such as Extreme Job and Black Money, and dramas including The Fiery Priest, One the Woman, and Knight Flower.
Aema premiered on Netflix on August 22. The series follows top star Hee Ran (played by Honey Lee) and rookie actress Joo Ae (Bang Hyo Rin) as they face the harsh realities of the Korean film industry during the rise of the erotic film era in the 1980s.
Looking ahead, she is expected to appear in the film The People Upstairs, directed by Ha Jung-woo, which has been officially invited to the 30th Busan International Film Festival. She is also preparing for a new drama with Song Hye Kyo Show Business, written by screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung.
