JTBC’s upcoming drama “Family By Choice” has announced a new broadcast schedule.
“Family By Choice” starring Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyun Sung is premiering today (October 9) at 8:50 PM on JTBC.
JTBC has revised its broadcast schedule on the release day. Initially planned as a Wednesday-Thursday drama, “Family By Choice” will now air exclusively on Wednesdays, with two back-to-back episodes starting at 8:50 PM.
It is a heartwarming romance drama that follows three young people reunited after 10 years apart, having shared a decade-long family bond.
The network’s decision to air its new Wednesday drama, “Family By Choice,” twice consecutively per week has raised curiosity about its potential impact on viewership.
Last year, MBC pioneered the once-a-week schedule with “A Good Day to Be A Dog,” citing its refreshing storyline and characters suitable for weekday nights.
This new MBC drama also has a refreshing storyline with the most popular cast, Hwang In Yeop, Jung Chaeyeon, and Bae Hyun Sung. It is adapted from the 2020 Cdrama “Go Ahead” starring Tan Song Yun, Song Wei Long, and Zhang Xin Cheng.
