On May 17, a court hearing took place at the Seoul Central District Court to consider ADOR’s request for a temporary injunction against HYBE. ADOR wants to stop HYBE from exercising its voting rights.

During the court hearing, a revealing email was presented as evidence, containing surprising and shocking information that shed new light on the case.

LE SSERAFIM has been embroiled in a series of plagiarism controversies on three separate occasions. It was revealed that HYBE is negotiating with international producers, who have worked with ADOR, to settle copyright infringement fees for the allegedly plagiarized songs.

Additionally, the protest email raised concerns about the delayed debut of NewJeans.

ADOR previously claimed that HYBE had promised NewJeans to be their first girl group, but later changed the schedule and debuted LE SSERAFIM first.

Moreover, there have been allegations that Bang Si Hyuk urged Min Hee Jin to strive for 100,000 album sales for NewJeans in order to surpass aespa’s initial sales record. However, Min Hee Jin declined the request, citing that it went against ADOR’s business policies.

Since the conflict between HYBE and ADOR began, numerous groups such as ILLIT, LE SSERAFIM, BTS, aespa, and many others have become entangled in the controversy.
