Hyeri, the beloved actress and singer, has touched many hearts with her recent act of kindness. Just before her upcoming birthday on June 9, she decided to donate a generous sum of 50 million Won.
On June 5, Sublime Artist Agency announced that she donated 50 million won to ASAN Medical Center in Seoul ahead of her birthday.
Funds provided by the Reply 1988 actor will be used to make a real difference in the lives of those struggling with medical issues and financial hardship.
She shared the heartfelt reason behind her donation, saying, “After hearing the stories of people giving up treatment due to financial difficulties, I participated in sharing with the hope that more people would dream of a healthy future.”
She mentioned that she is happy to share happiness with others. She also stated his determination to work hard and be a Hyeri who gives back the love received.
She has been consistently helping the needy over the years with massive donations. In 2019, Hyeri donated 100 million won to educational programs benefiting Asian children. She holds the distinction of being the youngest member of the ‘Honors Club’, a select group of significant donors to UNICEF.
She contributed 100 million won to aid children in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region affected by COVID-19 in 2020.
On the work front, Hyeri will be appearing in the Netflix show Agents of Mystery, set to premiere on June 18.
