YOUNITE is bidding farewell to one of its members as Hyunseung has announced his departure from the group.
On July 2, YOUNITE’s agency, Brand New Music announced his departure, stating, “Due to personal reasons, YOUNITE member Hyunseung will be leaving the team and terminating his contract with the agency.”
The label apologized to fans for this sudden news, “We would like to apologize once again for any concerns caused by the sudden announcement, and YOUNITE will continue activities as an eight-member group in the future.”
The agency has pledged to provide full support to the remaining eight members of YOUNITE as they embark on a new chapter, and has asked fans to look forward to their activities.
On another note, YOUNITE’s musical journey began with their debut Youni-Birth in April 2022. They continued to grow and experiment with their sound, releasing Youni-Q in July 2022 and Youni-On in October 2022.
In 2023, they dropped 빛: Bit Part.1 in May and 빛: Bit Part.2 in October and the holiday single White Christmas in December 2023. Their latest album ANOTHER dropped in May 2024.
