I-LAND 2 upcoming girl group izna’s performance at KCON LA 2024 has been canceled due to unexpected visa issues.
The new 7-member group izna was formed through an audition program, I-LAND 2, earlier this month. Ahead of their debut, they were scheduled to perform at 2024 KCON LA on Saturday, July 27.
On July 20, KCON announced that they would not be performing at the event in an official statement, stating, “We regret to inform you that the new group from I-LAND 2, will be unable to join us at KCON LA due to unexpected visa issues. The artist has expressed their disappointment and sadness at not being able to attend, especially as they were so excited to meet their fans at KCON LA.”
The organizers asked fans to look forward to performances from other artists, “With more performances, more stages, and more to experience than ever, we look forward to making your KCON LA 2024 experience an enjoyable and memorable one.”
izna was set to make their first-ever public appearance at the event and fans were quite excited for their performance.
izna has a 7-member lineup including Mai, Koko, Choi Jungeun, Bang Jeemin, Yoon Jiyoon, Ryu Sarang, and Jeong Saebi.
Lastly, KCON LA is set to be held from July 26-27 at LA’s crypto.com Arena.
