Omega House Milano opened for the 2026 Winter Olympics to offer a pop-up venue for athletes, guests, and brand ambassadors. At the center of the event were two of Omega’s top ambassadors: Hollywood veteran George Clooney and Korean star Park Bo Gum.
The venue, located in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II at the Cracco restaurant, served as a lounge during the day and a reception area in the evenings. The event marked Omega’s 32nd year as the Official Olympic Timekeeper.
Park Bo Gum, who recently became Omega ambassador, was invited to the prestigious event with guests like George Clooney, Saul Nanni, and more.
During the event, the two seemed to be getting along well, and even the 64-year-old actor called him up on stage. When talking to the guests, Park Bo Gum shared his excitement to be at the event and did not “expect to meet George.” To which Clooney replied, “He is a very sharp guy.”
The entire room laughed when he added, “It’s very frustrating for me, ‘cause at 64, I look at him and I want to kill myself.” The “Good Boy” actor was looking ravishing in an all-black outfit, most certainly, one of his best red carpet looks of all time.
George Clooney also said to Park, “What an exciting time and what an exciting moment in your career, because this is the beginning and the fun part.” He also talked about living in Italy with his wife, Amal, and two kids, and how the country “celebrates family and life and friendship and laughter.”
Park Bo Gum was friendly and outgoing at the event, chatting comfortably with other ambassadors, the brand’s CEO, and key guests.
Fans loved his interaction with the Hollywood star, who could not help but gush over his looks and talent.
George Clooney has been an Omega ambassador for nearly twenty years. He received his first Omega watch from his uncle in 1969, the same year the Speedmaster famously landed on the moon.
The “Gravity” actor represents Omega’s classic elegance, heritage, and trust. He is associated with iconic models like the Speedmaster Moonwatch and the De Ville Hour Vision. Park Bo Gum, who became a global ambassador in December last year, represents Omega’s modern and youthful side.
On the work front, Park Bo Gum ruled 2025 with two hit Kdramas, When Life Gives You Tangerines and Good Boy. When Life Gives You Tangerines, particularly, was a favorite during the award season and bagged dozens of trophies. Next, he will take on a challenging role in a historical film, tentatively titled The Sword: A Legend of Red Wolf.
