ICHILLIN’ Chowon was injured when struck by a foul ball during a baseball game.
As reported by SPOTV News on April 16, Chowon passed out after being hit by a foul ball while attending the Kiwoom Heroes and KT Wiz game at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
During cleanup time, all the ICHILLIN’ members performed on the cheering platform near first base.
Chowon, after completing the first pitch and hit, went to watch the game while waiting for the performance time. Unfortunately, during the third inning of the game, she was struck by a foul ball.
Subsequently, she was taken to the infirmary and fainted due to the impact of the ball. Thankfully, under the attentive care of medical staff and team officials, Chowon regained consciousness.
She will be moved to Korea University Guro Hospital, which is near Gocheok Sky Dome, for a thorough examination. The Cleaning Time performance by ICHILLIN’ was called off.
Lastly, ICHILLIN dropped their third mini-album Feelin’ Hot in March and has been actively promoting it.
