ILLIT has achieved amazing success just two months after debuting. They’ve gained a huge following, broken records, and made a big impact on the music industry.
Minju is incredibly grateful for their fans’ support and thanked them during an appearance on JTBC’s Knowing Bros on May 25.
The 20-year-old idol expressed her honest feelings about enjoying great popularity within two months of her debut.
When asked how it feels to be so popular within just 50 days of debut, “It doesn’t feel real yet and I’m so grateful,” and added, “I think I need to work that much harder.”
Regarding her life motto, Minju shared that she lives by the simple yet powerful philosophy ‘This too shall pass.’
She revealed that it has helped her get through tough times, “Ever since I was young, when I was going through difficult times, I would remember this motto and get through it.”
The ILLIT member shared some wise words with the viewers, saying, “No matter how strong the typhoon is, it is just a passing wind, and even strong showers will not fall all day, and this too will pass.”
Lastly, ILLIT, a five-piece girl group, took the music world by storm when they debuted in March and made history by entering the prestigious Billboard Hot 100 chart with their debut track Magnetic.
Despite the controversy surrounding their debut due to HYBE-ADOR conflict and plagiarism accusations, ILLIT members are greatly adored by fans.
