Genie Music and Stone Music Entertainment, the album distributors for ILLIT, announced that pre-orders for their second mini-album, “I’LL LIKE YOU”, surpassed 550,000 copies on October 17.

The pre-orders for “I’LL LIKE YOU” are expected to increase further as there are still three days left till the album hits music platforms.

This figure is considerably higher than the pre-orders recorded by their debut album, “SUPER REAL ME.” Their first mini-album sold 211, 851 copies ahead of the release on March 25.

According to Circle Chart, “SUPER REAL ME” has sold 558,227 copies from March 25 to September 30. With their new album surpassing 500,000 sales, combined sales of both albums are projected to exceed 1 million copies.

ILLIT achieved unprecedented success with their debut album “SUPER REAL ME”, selling 380,000 copies in its first week. The album notably entered the Billboard 200 and its title track “Magnetic” became the first K-pop debut song to chart on Billboard’s Hot 100.

ILLIT’s new release, “I’LL LIKE YOU”, drops on October 21 at 6 PM. This album features a powerful concept: a girl trusting her heart and moving forward. The title song, “Cherish”, is an upbeat dance-pop track with a catchy hook.
