ILLIT, the new girl group, made a big impact as soon as they debuted, proving themselves as top newcomers. Their popularity soared, both at home and abroad.
Almost 200,000 copies of Super Real Me flew off the shelves in just two days, with 142,307 on day 1 and 46,960 on day 2. The album secured the 2nd spot on Hanteo Chart’s daily chart.
Their debut album made waves in Japan as well, hitting the top spot in Oricon’s daily album rankings (as of March 25) with an estimated 5,222 copies sold. They clinched the title of the artist with the highest album sales of the day.
As for international charts, they also debuted on Spotify’s Daily Global Top Songs at number 160, setting a new record as the first K-pop girl group to achieve this on their debut day.
On March 26, Super Real Me made its mark on the iTunes Top Album chart across 14 countries/regions. Notably, it claimed the top spot in Brazil and Russia.
The title song Magnetic from the debut album Super Real Me is also getting a lot of love. It landed on iTunes’ ‘Top Songs’ in 6 countries/regions and the music video hit 10 million views in just 24 hours.
On its release day, Magnetic dominated the real-time charts on all three big local music platforms: Bugs, Genie, and Melon. Every single track from Super Real Me made it onto the Melon Hot 100 chart.
