ILY:1’s Agency Refrains Fans From Sending Threatening and Distressing Messages

ILY1

ILY:1’s agency has made a heartfelt appeal to fans.

FC ENM has respectfully requested that fans refrain from sending messages that may cause fear, anxiety, or distress to the members.

On June 4, FC ENM shared, “Recently, the artist is under a lot of psychological stress due to people who continuously send messages that cause fear or anxiety to our artist through personal SNS and communication apps.”

They made a strong plea for refraining from making comments that could hurt the artists and stated their commitment to safeguarding the artists through contrast monitoring.

Recently, screenshots of the Japanese member Ririka, expressing fear on a fan communication app have been circulating in online communities.

In response to certain fans’ messages, ‘Can I Kidnap you? Ririka mentioned, “No, don’t keep writing things like that,” and “Pranks shouldn’t cross the line.” She shared that she’s been seeing such posts a lot lately and their privacy should not be invaded.

Some fans shared their thoughts that Ririka, being a foreigner, might be misinterpreting comments. However, many fans emphasized that if she feels fear, it’s important to avoid making such comments.

Lastly, ILY:1 is a group with six members from different countries: two Koreans, two Japanese, and two Taiwanese.
