‘Influenza’ Starring BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Park Jeong Min Wraps Filming

The zombie apocalypse is coming! 

BLACKPINK Jisoo and Park Jeong Min’s new zombie thriller Influenza has finished filming.

As reported by Kmedia outlet on June 27, filming for the highly anticipated drama Influenza wrapped up in Chuncheon, with production now in high gear. 

The eight-day filming schedule, which kicked off on June 16. took place at various locations in Chuncheon, including Bomnae Film Studio. A team of over 400 actors and crew members was involved in the filming of the drama in Chuncheon.

Previously, several photos and videos of Jisoo shooting for the drama went viral. In addition, the production team hired a camping car for the Flower singer for a peaceful retreat amidst her busy filming schedule.

In addition, she has completed filming of her upcoming movie, Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint, starring Lee Minho, Ahn Hyo Seop, and Nana. On the other hand, Park Jeong Min recently appeared on Netflix’s The 8 Show.

Based on the novel by Han Sang Woon, Influenza is a thrilling drama that follows a former couple, Jae Yoon (played by Park Jeong Min) and Young Joo (played by Jisoo), as they battle zombies in a Seoul high-rise building.

 Jae Yoon, a soldier who enlists late in life, and Young Joo, a young woman navigating a tough new world after a painful breakup.  As they face off against a zombie horde in an air defense unit, they must also confront their complicated past and fight for survival.

The drama is directed by Yoon Sung Hyun, known for Time to Hunt, Bleak Night, and If You Were Me 5. It is penned by Parasite movie co-writer, Han Jin Won.
