Shin Si Ah and Moon Sang Min are teaming up to lead the new teen romance drama Do Not Climb Over the Wall. It is the latest project from popular writer Lee Na Eun.
On April 22, SPOTV News exclusively reported that Shin Si Ah had been cast as the female lead. The very next day, Moon Sang Min’s casting was reported by SPOTV News. The drama pairs two of the most sought-after young actors for this fresh high-teen romance.
Writer Lee Na Eun has a gift for capturing young love and has penned several hit dramas, such as Our Beloved Summer and Melo Movie.
Do Not Climb Over the Wall is described as a teen romance that focuses on the emotions and relationships of young people.
Shin Si Ah’s journey to leading lady status is the stuff of fairy tales. She burst onto the scene in 2022 after beating out an astonishing 1,408-to-1 competition to land a starring role in Park Hoon Jung’s film The Witch: Part 2.
Since then, she has appeared in the romance film Even If This Love Disappears Tonight and the medical drama Resident Playbook. Looking ahead, she is set to star opposite Lee Do Hyun in the Hong Sisters’ Netflix series Grand Galaxy Hotel.
Moon Sang Min, meanwhile, has been on a remarkable rise of his own. After debuting in 2019, his breakout role was in the hit historical drama Under the Queen’s Umbrella. The performance earned him the Best New Actor award at the 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
He showed his romantic comedy chops in Wedding Impossible and Cinderella at 2 AM. Then, he delivered a powerful, dramatic turn in the KBS drama To My Beloved Thief, which wrapped up in early 2026. He also recently made his film debut in the Netflix movie Pavane in February. His next project is the Netflix fantasy romance Beauty in the Beast, where he plays a gentle university senior nicknamed “Large Dog” for his soft-hearted nature.
Currently in the pre-production phase, Do Not Climb Over the Wall is still finalizing its cast and crew.
