The highly-anticipated drama has assembled a talented cast, featuring Kim Jung Hyun, Geum Sae Rok, Choi Tae Joon, Yang Hye Ji, Lee Sung Yeol, Shin Hyun Joon, Kim Hye Eun, Park Ji Young, Kim Young Ok, and more.

Previously, it was revealed that Kim Jung Hyun and Geum Sae Rok will lead Iron Family (working title), and now Choi Tae Joon and Yang Hye Ji have joined as supporting actors.

KBS 2TV’s upcoming weekend drama Iron Family is a romantic black comedy that follows the Darim family, who appear to run an ordinary laundry shop, but secretly iron out more than wrinkles.

Written by Seo Sook Hyang and directed by Sung Joon Hae, this intriguing drama is set to premiere in September.

In Iron Family, Kim Jung Hyun stars as Seo Kang Joo, the charming and wealthy managing director of Jiseung Group, while Geum Sae Rok plays Da Rim, the feisty youngest daughter of Cheongryeom Laundry.

The two have a history, having shared a memorable encounter in college, just before Kang-joo’s military enlistment. Eight years later, they reunite, and Kang Joo still finds himself deeply drawn to Da Rim.

Choi Tae Joon plays Cha Tae Woong, a young man with a difficult past. Abandoned as a baby, Tae Woong grew up in an orphanage and now works part-time at Cheongryeom Laundry. When he meets Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun), who is trying to win over Da Rim, Tae Woong surprisingly finds a sense of brotherhood with him.

Yang Hye Ji plays Lee Cha Rim, a confident and fashionable young woman who’s determined to make a name for herself. As the second daughter of Cheongryeom Laundry, Cha Rim has always felt overshadowed by her family’s reputation and her mother’s favoritism towards her younger sister. As a talented fashion designer at Jiseung Group, she often clashes with her boss, Kang Joo.

Iron Family is set to premiere in September as the next weekend drama, following the conclusion of the currently airing Beauty and Mr. Romantic.
