BLACKPINK’s Rosé is enjoying one of the biggest moments of her career, and she recently opened up about it during her appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

With her solo song APT. becoming a global hit, the singer revealed not only her journey as a solo artist but also how her bond with fellow BLACKPINK members has remained as strong as ever. To the delight of fans, Rosé even played the demo version of APT. live on the show to give listeners a rare glimpse into how the track first came together.

During the interview, Stern asked whether her success created any jealousy among the other members. Rosé was quick to shut down that idea, saying, “Not at all. I think we all kind of doing this simultaneously from the group and going on to solo, we kind of all understand how much work went behind this kind of being independent and everything.”

She further shared, “So every time we always bond about experiences and stuff, it’s really wholesome. They always check in on me. I love them, they are like my family and sisters.”

All four members have pursued solo careers, but instead of competition, Rosé said the group has found more understanding and empathy. They know how much effort it takes to build something on your own after years of working together, and that shared struggle has only strengthened their bond.

The 28-year-old singer has undoubtedly seen the most explosive results so far. APT., her collaboration with Bruno Mars, has been nothing short of a phenomenon. It debuted in the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 and peaked at No.3, topped charts across Asia, and became her first track to achieve a “perfect all-kill” in South Korea. Internationally, it hit No. 1 in several markets, including Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, where it made history as the first Western collaboration to top the Billboard Japan Hot 100 in over a decade.

This runaway success has helped Rosé carve out a distinct space as a solo artist while still representing BLACKPINK. For fans, the performance of APT. is proof that she can hold her own in the global music scene. And hearing her play the demo on The Howard Stern Show was a reminder of how deeply involved she is in shaping her music.

Meanwhile, Lisa, Jennie, and Jisoo have also been releasing music and pursuing their own projects, from acting to collaborations with Western artists. Together, the members have managed to “flood the zone” with individual releases while BLACKPINK is at the center of global pop culture.

After over a year of solo activities, BLACKPINK reunited in July with a world tour. They took a short break after the two historic London shows in August to work on new group music, which is scheduled for November. Before that, they will continue their Deadline tour in Asia and have recently added dates in Singapore and Hong Kong.
