After Rowoon left SF9 last year, it seems the group will be losing another talented member, Zuho.
The 28-year-old K-pop star has dropped several hints about his possible departure from the group.
SF9, a boy group under FNC Entertainment, was originally a 9-member group with Rowoon leaving in September 2023. The group reorganized with an 8-member lineup and had their first comeback after Rowoon’s departure in December 2023 with their 13th mini album, Sequence.
Zuho, who actively participated in group activities, has been left out of their next comeback.
SF9 is gearing up for a comeback with its 14th mini album, featuring only 5 members including Youngbin, Chani, Yoo Taeyang, Chani, and Hwiyoung.
Jaeyoon and Dawon are currently on hiatus due to military service, but the reason behind Zuho’s absence from the group’s comeback remains unclear.
On top of that, he recently took to Instagram to share a cryptic message in a now-deleted story, I can’t do it even if I want to.
At his previous concert, he broke down in tears addressing fans, saying, I feel like this is my last show.
This has enraged fans who are blaming FNC Entertainment for not making him part of the group activities. The reason behind the conflict could be that Zuho signed a contract with Haewadal Entertainment to pursue an acting career.
Fans opined that Rowoon was forced to depart the group due to his solo scheduling conflict and now the same is being done to Zuho.
They are demanding FNC Entertainment explain the reason behind his absence from the upcoming comeback.
On another note, he recently made his acting comeback with the teen romance drama, Under the Gun, released in April on Viu and Viki Rakuten
