After collaborating with BTS’ V, Hyein from NewJeans, Tang Wei, and DPR IAN, IU had a special reunion with Tweety Bird, a beloved character that’s adored by people all over the world.
EDAM Entertainment announced that Tweety Bird, the beloved animated character from Warner Bros.’ ‘Looney Tunes’, makes a special appearance in IU’s music video for Holssi, one of the title songs from her new mini-album The Winning.
Not only did Tweety Bird surprise fans in the music video teaser released today, but the response has been incredible both in Korea and around the world.
Holssi is a unique track that combines hip-hop and R&B vibes with heavy drum and bass elements. And IU’s voice is incredible in this song. She switches between being a flexible R&B singer, a sharp rapper, and even playful like singing a children’s song.
The song was created by the talented composers Lee Jong-hoon and Lee Chae-gyu, who have worked with IU before on hits like Not Spring, Love, or Not Cherry Blossoms, Twenty-Three, and Blueming. IU wrote the lyrics for Holssi all by herself. Her lyrics always resonate with listeners of all generations.

They’ve been working together on everything from the special edition of the mini album to the music video, and it’s getting a lot of attention. Lastly, IU’s new mini album The Winning is set to be released on major online music sites at 6 PM on February 20.
