IU’s World Tour ‘HER’ Set to Bring 27 Unforgettable Performances to 18 Cities Across 12 Countries

IU world tour HER

All eyes are on IU as she is set to release a new single Love Wins featuring BTS’ V and embarks on her world tour.

IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, took to their official social media accounts on January 17 to share the exciting news of her upcoming ‘2024 IU HER World Tour Concert’.

IU’s world tour concert is set to kick off in Seoul in March and will take her to incredible cities like Yokohama, Taipei, Singapore, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Atlanta, Berlin, London, Bangkok, Oakland, Osaka, Newark, Washington DC, Rosemont, and LA.

IU’s current tour is especially significant as it comes about five years after her Love, Poem tour in 2019. She will be visiting new cities that she hasn’t performed in before.

With 27 performances in 18 cities across 12 countries, it’s on a scale that even surpasses many major K-pop groups. It’s not common for a female solo artist to embark on a tour of this magnitude.

In the past, such large-scale tours were typically reserved for K-pop groups with massive fandoms. But IU is breaking barriers and proving her status in the global music market.

According to Billboard’s ‘The Year In Touring 2023’ report, BLACKPINK topped the list for generating the most revenue through world tours last year. They recorded sales of approximately $148 million, which is around KRW 194.7 billion.

Following closely behind was BTS’ SUGA with around $57 million (KRW 76.6 billion) and TWICE with about $54 million (KRW 72.6 billion).
