IVE Drops Comeback Schedule for 2nd Japanese EP ‘ALIVE’

After dropping IVE SWITCH in April, IVE is now making a Japanese comeback with a brand-new EP, ALIVE.

On July 14, Starship Entertainment dropped the 1st teaser announcing the release of the 2nd Japan EP, ALIVE, in August.

Nearly a week later, the agency has released a scheduler for the promotional content to be dropped leading up to the album release.

Here’s what IVE has in store for DIVE

  • July 23-25 – Concept Photo Version 1
  • July 26-27 – Concept Photo Version 2
  • July 28-30 – Concept Photo Version 3
  • August 1 – Jacket Photo
  • August 3 – CRUSH MV Teaser 1
  • August 5 – CRUSH MV Teaser 2
  • August 7 – CRUSH MV release
  • August 8 – ALIVE Album release

IVE officially debuted in Japan with the release of the physical single of the Japanese version of Eleven released on October 19, 2022. The group received Gold certification from RIAJ for selling over 100,000 units in Japan.

On May 31, 2023, IVE released the 1st Japan EP Wave with the title track of the same name. Now, over a year later, the group is coming with their 2nd Japanese mini album, ALIVE. Considering their popularity in Japan, it is expected to break some records.

Lastly, IVE’s ALIVE will hit music platforms on August 8.
