IVE is officially ushering in a new chapter with the announcement of their 4th EP, IVE SECRET.
On July 31, Starship Entertainment released multiple teasers for the group’s forthcoming release on all social media platforms.
The teasers featured the tagline “XOXZ COMING SOON” and visuals hinted at a glamorous yet mysterious concept. IVE SECRET will be dropped on August 25, 2025, marking the group’s return just over six months after their last release.
A day earlier (July 30), IVE dropped their third Japanese mini-album, Be Alright, the lead single was dropped on July 16.
The group first hinted at the comeback during their performance at the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer last week. The girls surprised fans with a mysterious teaser following their performance of “Rebel Heart.” The screen lit up with the word “SECRET” and a short snippet of new choreography, followed by the cryptic tagline, “XOXZ COMING SOON.”
Leader An Yujin, who also served as an MC for the event, used her “privilege” to present an extra choreography clip as a special summer gift to fans.
The comeback announcement comes on the heels of IVE’s blockbuster success with their third EP, IVE EMPATHY, which dropped on February 3, 2025. The album opened with record-breaking sales, 620,000 copies on its first day, and surpassed one million within five days. Title tracks “Rebel Heart” and “Attitude” swept Korean music charts, with “Rebel Heart” achieving a Perfect All-Kill and earning 11 music show trophies.
IVE capped off their summer schedule with performances at Lollapalooza in both Paris (July 20, 2025) and Berlin (late July 2025).
With this, they became the first K‑pop group to appear at the festival three times, following earlier sets in Chicago (2024). Their festival sets were praised for high-energy stages and strong vocal performances of hits like “Love Dive” and “Eleven.”
In late 2024, IVE completed their first world tour, Show What I Have, which sold out venues across the U.S., Europe, and Mexico. The tour earned praise for its diverse setlist, including songs like “After LIKE”, “Kitsch”, “Baddie”, and “Either Way.” It is expected that IVE will announce their second world tour and may hit the road after the album release.
