On January 17, Starship Entertainment announced that they are taking legal action against Taldeok Camp (Sojang), the individual or group that has been continuously harassing their artists since November 2022.

Starship Entertainment plans to pursue both civil and criminal lawsuits, as well as overseas lawsuits, to address the situation. The false information spread by Taldeok Camp has caused significant damage to the reputation of Starship Entertainment and has caused distress to their artists.

The agency also mentioned that the criminal complaint against Taldeok Camp has recently been transferred to the prosecution and is still an ongoing matter. Additionally, there are two civil lawsuits filed against Taldeok Camp, and Starship Entertainment’s civil suit is scheduled to be argued this month.

In regards to Jang Wonyoung’s case, the other party did not respond, leading to a ruling in her favor due to a false confession. Starship Entertainment will provide an official statement once all legal proceedings are concluded.

Lastly, Starship Entertainment expressed their intention to take all necessary legal measures in the future to address any defamation or further instances of harm towards their artists.
