Time sure does fly!
Soon enough, ARMYs will welcome another BTS member, J-Hope, after Jin was discharged on June 12.
On Chuseok Day, September 17, J-Hope poured his heart out on Weverse, sharing his feelings as he counts down to his military discharge.
Exactly a month later, on October 17, the Arson rapper will be discharged from the military.
He shared his emotions ahead of his return saying, “One month, exactly 30 days left to go!
All that time flew by but I am already reminiscing about it, guess I grew pretty fond of everything here.
I have been packing, giving away some of the gear I came to cherish, and my locker is starting to look a bit empty. And that is when the feeling really starts to sink in.”
J-Hope looked back at his early military enlistment days, saying, “I look back and it all comes flooding back, those early days where I was nervous and tense and did not know what I know now.. that everything would be just fine.”
He added, “These days, seeing the new recruits who moved in, I can read their minds. Reminds me a bit of myself so I find it kind of cute.
Sigh.. I can not stop my emotions from taking over, these strong Emotions with a capital E.. well I am proud of myself! I made it!
I say all this and I am writing this from my bed haha. I really am one of those* “so-close-to-being-discharged-sergeants” having the holiday (Chuseok) off is pretty nice!! A full day to properly rest!”
Lastly, he wished ARMYs a Happy Chuseok, “Alright that was a lot but I wanted to come on here and say I hope you spent a joyful chuseok~ Isn’t it crazy it happens to be the day I start the 30-day countdown??
While everyone is peacefully winding down with family, the butterfly in my heart is fluttering around to no end.

Jungkook, who also wished everyone a happy Chuseok, commented under his Weverse post saying, “You did a great job, J-Hope.”
The remaining BTS members SUGA, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook will complete their military service in June 2025.
