Jang Da Ah will be unable to attend her first official appearance, the Pyramid Game production presentation, as she has tested positive for COVID-19.

On February 26, TVING shared the news that Jang Da-ah tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, she won’t be able to attend the production presentation of the new original series Pyramid Game scheduled for 2 PM on the same day.

The production presentation for the Pyramid Game will take place at CGV Yongsan I’Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul today. Unfortunately, Jang Da Ah won’t be able to attend due to health reasons. However, director Park So Yeon, Kim Ji Yeon, Ryu Da In, Shin Seul Ki, and Kang Na Eon will be there.

In Pyramid Game, the story revolves around school violence. At Baekyeon Girls’ High School, the second-year students of class 5 participate in a monthly secret ballot to label outcasts. This leads to a division among the students as perpetrators, victims, and bystanders, ultimately leading to a cycle of violence.

Jang Da Ah plays the role of Baek Harin, who holds the highest status in the school. On the surface, she is adored for her perfection, sweet demeanor, and elegance. However, beneath that facade, she is a cunning and calculating individual.

The first four episodes of Pyramid Game will be released on Thursday, February 29. After that, fans can look forward to a total of 10 episodes, with two episodes airing every Thursday.
