Jang Ki Yong and Ahn Eun Jin star in the lead roles in one of SBS’ weekly office romance dramas, Dynamite Kiss. As the title implies, the complicated relationship between the leads begins with an unexpected kiss. The series features a compelling premise centered on a deceptive kiss and a web of lies. Initially scheduled to release in September, the new workplace drama will finally hit TV screens next month.
As the Dynamite Kiss release date draws near, here’s everything you need to know about the new SBS release.
Dynamite Kiss Release Date and Streaming Details
Dynamite Kiss will premiere on November 12, 2025, airing every Wednesday and Thursday on SBS at 9 p.m. KST. The series will also stream worldwide on Netflix, making it available to international audiences shortly (or concurrently) after each Korean broadcast.
It will have 14 episodes, each running around 70 minutes. The drama is produced by Samhwa Networks in partnership with Studio S, two companies known for successful romantic and slice-of-life dramas.
Following the streaming deal signed between Netflix and SBS in late 2024, viewers can expect more weekly SBS dramas to arrive on Netflix. The agreement not only covers new releases starting in the second half of 2025 but also includes the addition of SBS’s classic and legacy titles to the platform.
Plot Overview
The story centers on Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin), a job seeker who lies about being married with a child to get hired at a baby-products company. To maintain her job, she keeps up the lie while working under Gong Ji Hyuk (Jang Ki-yong), a talented but emotionally distant team leader who dislikes personal drama.
One night, an unexpected kiss between them changes everything. Ji Hyuk, who believes Da Rim is married, starts feeling confused about his growing attraction to her. On the other hand, Da Rim struggles with guilt and fear that her secret will be exposed. The drama follows their awkward, funny, and touching journey as they deal with office politics, personal dreams, and the consequences of a single impulsive act.
Cast Lineup
Jang Ki Yong plays Gong Ji Hyuk, a marketing team leader who lives by logic and order until Da Rim’s lie throws his life off balance. This is Jang’s second acting project after completing his military service in 2023.
His previous romantic and dramatic roles include My Roommate Is a Gumiho, Now, We Are Breaking Up, and Come and Hug Me. Last year, he appeared in the fantasy drama The Atypical Family, but Dynamite Kiss marks his return to the romantic comedy genre where his charm and humor shine best.
Ahn Eun Jin takes on the role of Go Da Rim, a cheerful yet anxious woman caught between ambition and honesty. She is best known for her emotional and natural acting in The Good Bad Mother and My Dearest, which earned her several award nominations.
Her 2025 lineup also included the fantasy rom-com Genie, Make a Wish, and a cameo in Resident Playbook. Dynamite Kiss allows her to show a lighter, more playful side while keeping her trademark sincerity.
The supporting cast includes Kim Mu Jun, who plays Kim Sun Woo, Da Rim’s longtime friend who pretends to be her husband to protect her secret. Rising actress Woo Da Bi appears as Yoo Ha Young, Da Rim’s co-worker and confidante. On the other hand, veteran actors Nam Gi Ae and Cha Mi Kyung portray parental figures.
