Earlier today (October 17), OSEN reported that Ahn Eun Jin has been tapped as lead for the upcoming SBS’ romance drama “Shouldn’t Have Kissed” (tentative title).
Later, SPOTV News reported that Jang Ki Yong is set to play the male protagonist, a team leader who falls in love with Ahn Eun Jin’s character.
YG Entertainment confirmed the reports saying that “The Atypical Family” actor has indeed received the offer. They told Daily Sports, “It’s one of the works currently under review.”
SBS’s ‘Shouldn’t Have Kissed’ is a heart-wrenching romance between a single woman pretending to be a mom and her unsuspecting boss who falls deeply in love.
Jang Ki Yong is reportedly considering the role of Gong Ji Hyeok, a team leader who develops feelings for Go Da Rim (Ahn Eun Jin), a woman pretending to be a mother.
Acclaimed writer Ha Yoon Ah (‘Mystic Pop-Up Bar’, ‘From Now On, Showtime’) joins forces with seasoned director Kim Jae Hyun (‘One Dollar Lawyer’) to bring ‘Shouldn’t Have Kissed’ to life.
Jang Ki Yong has multiple projects in the pipeline, including the upcoming series ‘Pigpen‘, slated for release next Year.
“Shouldn’t Have Kissed” is scheduled to premiere in 2025.
