BLACKPINK’s Jennie is set to return to variety television with a new show tentatively titled “Manitto Club.”
As reported by My Daily’s report on December 12, Jennie and broadcaster Dex have confirmed their appearance on the program, which is produced by PD Kim Tae Ho’s production company.
The concept follows a classic secret gift-giving format, where participants prepare and deliver special presents to someone without knowing each other’s identity. The first filming took place on December 11, with Jennie, Dex, Noh Hong Chul, and Choo Sung Hoon all on set.
This will be a reunion between Jennie and PD Kim Tae Ho, who previously worked together on the 2024 JTBC and Disney+ reality show “My Name is Gabriel.”
In that series, celebrities lived as a completely different person for seventy-two hours in a place where no one knew them. Jennie lived as an Italian woman named Maria who ran a small bed and breakfast near Rome.
On the other hand, Dex also appeared on the show and took on the role of Lati, a wine tank manufacturer in Tbilisi, Georgia.
Jennie is currently in the middle of BLACKPINK’s “Deadline” world tour, the group’s first all-stadium tour that began in July and runs through January 2026.
Next month, she will be busy with BLACKPINK’s global promotions for their long-awaited comeback album. The four-member group is preparing to release their first album in four years after taking a 1.5-year break for solo activities. BLACKPINK had been on hiatus since September 2023 and officially returned to group promotions this July.
With a month-long break scheduled in December, she is taking part in several variety programs, including “EXchange 4” (“Transit Love 4”) and “Manitto Club.” This follows her earlier variety work on the 2024 tvN and Prime Video series “Apartment 404.”
Dex is also active with ongoing appearances, including his role on tvN’s “I Am Boxer.”
“Manitto Club” is scheduled to air sometime in 2026.
