Jennie has entered a new chapter, fearlessly pushing boundaries, embracing bold style choices, and experimenting with new things without an apology.
The BLACKPINK star shook things up with the release of her studio album “Ruby”, dropped on March 7. It is an “ode to love, beauty, and being JENNIE”, as HOMMEGIRLS aptly puts it.
Jennie has unveiled her boldest look yet by gracing the cover of HOMMEGIRLS VOLUME 13. A couple of hours ago, the reputable magazine created a major stir by sharing a series of bold photos and videos. More photos will be released at a later date.
Serving as a Chanel ambassador since 2017, the “ExtraL” rapper donned edgy, statement pieces from the iconic brand. Last month, she also fronted the Chanel 2025 Handbag campaign.
Jennie went topless for the magazine cover, which is quite unconventional for a K-pop artist. The K-pop star sported lambskin shorts, tweed, and glass pearl camellias. However, we’re talking about Jennie, who has never followed the rules. She sported a cotton tweed coat, vintage shorts, a lace dress, and statement-making accessories for the photoshoot.
Besides the pictorial, the 29-year-old K-pop star also gave an interview with HOMMEPLUS, reflecting on “stepping into the spotlight on her own terms”. A sneak peek from her interview was shared on Instagram, with the full conversation to be featured in a magazine or released at a later time.
While talking to Olivia Kan-Sperling, Jennie talked about stepping into the new era, saying,
I am literally opening the curtains to my own play. It’s my own stage this time. Looking back at my life, I have realized: this whole time, I have been in a play. I was a player. But how do I find who I am when I’m not on stage? This was such an inspiring question for me.

Jennie’s debut solo album “Ruby” is a reflection of her growth, independence, and self-expression. Inspired by the themes of Shakespeare’s “As You Like It” and the symbolic ruby-red curtains of a theater, she confidently steps into the spotlight on her own terms.
Fans have gone gaga over her boldest photoshoot, leaving comments like “Pretty Girl Jennie”, “MOTHER”, “She knows what she is doing and it’s so hot”, “Jennie is unreal”, “This is Motherism”, and more.
On another note, Jennie recently won the Global Force award in the 2025 Billboard Women in Music. Now, she is set to perform on the second-biggest stage at Coachella 2025 this week.
