BLACKPINK’s Jennie is set to thrill fans with a special concert series, ‘The Ruby Experience’, in celebration of her upcoming solo album.
The talented rapper and vocalist will hold shows in Korea and the US in March and perform new songs from her debut full album “Ruby.”
On January 25, OA Entertainment revealed that Jennie will kick off ‘The Ruby Experience’ concert series at the Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon on March 15. The concerts will be held after the release of her solo album.
Prior to her Korea concert, she will take the stage in the US, performing at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on March 6, followed by a show in New York at Radio City Music Hall on March 10.
As the name implies, ‘The Ruby Experience’ is an intimate concert stage where Jennie will personally introduce and perform tracks from her debut studio album, ‘Ruby’.
The “Solo” singer will donate a portion of the proceeds from her US shows to aid in the recovery efforts of the Los Angeles wildfires and to support local firefighters.
Her upcoming album “Ruby”, set for release on March 7, will feature 15 tracks. It includes collaborations with Dua Lipa, Childish Gambino, Deutsch, and more. Some featured artists are expected to join her for shows in New York and LA.
Prior to the release of “Ruby”, Jennie is set to drop another pre-release single. Her previously released single “Mantra” is also included in the tracklist.
Meanwhile, Jennie’s hugely-awaited album “Ruby” will be available to stream on music platforms on March 7. She is the last member to drop a solo album after Jisoo and Lisa make a comeback next month. After wrapping solo activities, BLACKPINK members will reunite for a comeback and are expected to release new music in May.
