Jennie for Harper's BAZAAR US

Fashion icon and BLACKPINK member Jennie reveals her ultimate style savior and the secrets behind mastering “The Idol” dance routine.

On September 19, Harper’s BAZAAR US released a pictorial featuring Jennie along with an interview

She looked back at her iconic fashion moments, talked about her upcoming album, and who she calls in case of a fashion emergency.

Her go-to person to call if she finds herself in a fashion emergency is her mom, who she called ‘Carrie’ from Sex and the City. She shared, “When I am at the airport … I call my mom. ‘Mom, I need a knee-length black coat. If it is Burberry, I will like it, but if not, that’s cool.’ She will bring me a perfect (outfit) from when she wore it like 30 years ago.”

Last year in June, she made her acting debut in HBO’s The Idol, also starring The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp.

Her bold dance scene from the show went viral and garnered millions of views. At the time, she received backlash from fans for her bold dance moves.

Looking back at her viral dance scene in The Idol, Jennie shared, “I learned that without a mirror, I did that in like an hour, two hours, less than that, so I am very proud to get that done on the spot.”

On another note, Jennie made an announcement today, which many fans believed to be her solo fandom name, RUBIES. Her label ODD ATELIER cleared the misunderstanding by saying that she addresses the fans arbitrarily.

In addition, she announced new music in October after teaming up with Columbia Records.
