During a recent fansign event, Jeon Somi opened up about her friendship with none other than BTS RM. A curious fan asked Somi how she became friends with the BTS rapper. Somi has made a comeback with an album, Game Plan, after two years. She held an in-person and online fansign event to promote her album. That’s when a curious fan could not help but ask how she became friends with RM of BTS.
Fans became curious about their friendship when RM attended the launch party of Game Plan. RM was not the only one who attended the launch party, in fact, many Kpop celebs were in attendance.
Some of the known faces of the Kpop industry were spotted at the party including TWICE’s Nayeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, G-Dragon, Taeyang, and many more. One of the notable guests at the party was BTS’ RM. The launch party reflected that Somi has a big friend circle, all there to support her comeback.
When Somi shared photos from the launch party, fans were quick to notice RM in some of the photos. A fan asked about the interaction at the fansign event and the Fast Forward singer revealed how they met and became friends.
Somi revealed that she met the Wild Flower singer BIGBANG G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE X NIKE collaboration dinner held in April. Then, Somi and RM got to know each other better through mutual friends. She further said that since both of them can speak English, they bonded well and became close.
Her comeback album, Game Plan, was released on August 7 with Fast Forward being the title track.
