Jeon Somi is making a return to the music scene with the first comeback of 2024.
This year, the 23-year-old singer had been busy hosting shows and other activities, however, she has decided to return as a soloist.
On July 29, her agency, THE BLACK LABEL, confirmed that she would be releasing a new song on August 2.
Luckily, fans won’t have to wait long for the release, just a few days.
Jeon Somi is making her highly-anticipated comeback after a year, following the release of her debut EP GAME PLAN in August last year.
Her previous title track Fast Forward was a huge success, topping domestic music charts and sparking a viral dance challenge with its unique blend of deep house music and powerful choreography.
Even though she did not make a comeback, it has been a busy year for Jeon Somi as she appeared on Mnet’s reality show I-LAND 2: N/a as a storyteller and hosted the show’s finale.
In addition, she launched her makeup brand, GLYF, in April with a highlighter palette. Somi also appeared on CNN’s Spirit of Seoul promoting Korean culture and hosted KCON LA on July 27.
Lastly, Jeon Somi is set to release her new song on August 2nd at 1 PM, kicking off a busy schedule of promotions, including performances on various music shows.
