Jin Ki Joo to Play Seo Kang Joon’s Homeroom Teacher in Upcoming Drama ‘Undercover High School

The main cast for MBC’s upcoming drama Undercover High School has been officially announced.

On June 28, MBC’s announced the female lead for the upcoming Friday-Saturday drama, Undercover High School (working title), Jin Ki Joo. The drama is directed by Choi Jung In and written by Im Young Bin.

Undercover High School, a 12-episode comical action drama presented by MBC, tells the story of Jeong Hae Sung (portrayed by Seo Kang-jun), an NIS agent who disguises himself as a high school student.

His mission is to investigate the disappearance of Emperor Gojong’s valuable gold bars while navigating the challenges of high school life undercover.

Jin Ki Joo portrays Oh Soo Ah, Hae Sung’s homeroom teacher. Oh Soo Ah, a part-time Korean history teacher at the prestigious Byeongmun High School, is known for her upright character and unwavering love for her students. 

She faces a tumultuous school life as she discovers connections between her childhood first love, who left a deep scar, and her high school student Jeong Hae Sung, who joins her class.

This is the first project of Seo Kang Joon after being discharged from the military.

As announced by MBC, Undercover High School is set to premiere in the first half of 2025.
