Park Seo Joon, Choi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi are reuniting for a brand-new variety show led by producer Na Young Seok. On January 29, tvN confirmed that the three actors will appear together in PD Na’s upcoming program. The filming is set to begin in February, and the show will air in the first half of 2026.
The trio has been loved by viewers for their friendship and chemistry for nearly a decade. Their journey together began with PD Na’s popular “restaurant abroad” variety series. In 2017 and 2018, Jung Yu Mi and Park Seo Joon appeared in Seasons 1 and 2 of Youn’s Kitchen. There, they helped run a small Korean restaurant overseas under the guidance of Youn Yuh Jung and Lee Seo Jin.
In 2021, the project expanded with Youn’s Stay, a spin-off created during the pandemic. This time, the cast ran a traditional Korean hanok guesthouse. It was through this show that Choi Woo Shik joined the group as a new intern.
The three continued working together in Jinny’s Kitchen, Seasons 1 and 2, from 2023 to 2024. With Lee Seo Jin stepping in as the restaurant owner, the team operated Korean street food restaurants abroad, including in Mexico. The Mexico edition also featured the globally popular BTS member V as an intern.
The upcoming variety show will be different from their past projects in one important way. Lee Seo Jin, who previously acted as the practical and calm “CEO” figure in all of these shows, will not be part of the new program. Lee Seo Jin is currently working with PD Na on a separate travel show titled Ready or Not: Texas for Netflix.
While the exact concept of the new show has not yet been revealed, it has been confirmed that filming will take place mainly in South Korea. The variety program will air on tvN in the first half of 2026.
Outside of variety shows, all three actors remain busy with acting projects. Park Seo Joon recently returned to the romance genre with the drama, Surely Tomorrow, opposite Squid Game actress Won Ji An.
Choi Woo Shik, known worldwide for Parasite, recently starred in a rom-com, Would You Marry Me?. Jung Yu Mi also appeared in a rom-com, titled Love Your Enemy, with Ju Ji Hoon.
