Jisoo and Hello Kitty are coming together for a special collaboration that is already getting huge attention online.
Teaser images shared on social media have confirmed the pairing and revealed that a major announcement is set for January 6, 2026. The visuals alone were enough to excite fans and created buzz around what the collaboration might include.
So far, neither Sanrio nor Jisoo’s team has released full details or official campaign images. Even so, the collaboration feels natural to longtime fans. Jisoo, a member of BLACKPINK and a successful solo artist, has often shown her love for Hello Kitty. She has previously been spotted using Hello Kitty items, including a well-known phone case, which fans still remember.
Hello Kitty also has a strong history of working with major global brands. Over the years, the character has partnered with names like Nike, Balenciaga, and Dr. Martens, often releasing limited-edition collections that quickly sell out.
The teaser has BLINKs and collectors excited. Fans have been sharing their reactions on platforms such as Threads and Facebook. It is not yet known what kind of products will be released. The collaboration could include fashion, accessories, collectibles, beauty items, or a mix of different categories. Prices, release dates, and sales platforms have also not been announced.
The collaboration follows the global celebrations for Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary. A senior executive at Sanrio previously hinted that the company plans to expand collaborations and introduce more Sanrio characters to global audiences in 2026.
On the work front, Jisoo’s group, BLACKPINK, is ready to kick off 2026 with a major comeback. Plus, she will release a solo full album this year, and fans can look forward to the premiere of her first-ever rom-com, Boyfriend on Demand, on Netflix in February.
