Jung So Min recently responded to the swirling dating rumors surrounding her and her “Love Next Door” co-star Jung Hae In.
The 35-year-old actress clarified their relationship status while expressing her admiration for him.
In an interview with Ten Asia on October 8, she was asked about their undeniable chemistry which sparked dating rumors.
Jung So Min shared, “I thought, ‘The character chemistry must have been good.’ I feel that the process of creating good chemistry between Seung Hyo and Seok Ryu’s storylines was also seen as good chemistry.”
She added, “Before filming began, we had time to meet, chat, and enjoy good food together, which helped us become comfortable with each other. Once filming started, we didn’t have much free time, but we spent a lot of time together on set. The long filming period allowed us to naturally become closer.”
Previously, Jung Hae In also vaguely addressed dating rumors with her, which only fueled the speculations. Their recent trip to Bali last month for a Harper’s Bazaar photoshoot further reignited the rumors that they are dating in real life.
So Min expressed her wish to work with him in the future, sharing, “The chemistry was so perfect that it can’t be rated. I have a strong desire to meet him again in another project and match our energies in a different way. We were so open that there was no discomfort in exchanging opinions.”
On another note, “Love Next Door,” which concluded on October 6, explores a tumultuous neighborhood romance between Bae Seok Ryu (Jung So Min) and Choi Seung Hyo (Jung Hae In).
