KARA is set to release a new song, Hello, which features the vocals of all six members, including the late Goo Hara.
This release marks a bittersweet reunion for KARA and their fans, as they’ll get to hear Goo Hara’s vocals for the first time in a while.
According to RBW and DSP Media, Hello was originally intended for KARA’s 4th studio album Full Bloom in 2013 but was never released.
The song has now been completed with all six members, including Goo Hara’s vocals recorded in Korean before her passing. A Japanese version of the song was previously included in Goo Hara’s solo single Midnight Queen in 2019.
The song explores the complexities of the greeting ‘hello’, which can signify both joyful reunions and poignant goodbyes.
KARA revealed a moving poster for Hello on their social media accounts, ahead of its release at 6 pm today. The poster features a whimsical illustration of a person waving in a bright blue sky.
On July 16 at 6 PM, the group will release Hello, a ballad from their upcoming digital single I DO I DO, on various music platforms. The song will be followed by the release of the digital single I DO I DO on July 24.
