KATSEYE, the global girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, is finally debuting in the US.
On June 13, KATSEYE teased their debut by releasing a logo trailer on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel, featuring a six-pronged jewel and a mysterious sphere.
The video ends with a countdown to June 28, 12 AM ET, hinting at their official debut date.
HYBE and Geffen Records announced that KATSEYE’s debut single will drop on June 28 at 12 AM ET (1 PM KST).
The group’s second single and EP are set to follow in July and August, respectively. This marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for them, as they unveil their new music and kick off their journey with fans.
KATSEYE is a band created from the talent show ‘The Debut: Dream Academy’, which was on TV from September to November last year.
The group comprises six top-notch members: Yoon Chae (Korea), Daniela (USA), Lara (USA), Manon (Switzerland), Megan (USA), Sophia (Philippines).
Lastly, the U.S. Grammy.com listed them as one of the ’11 K-pop newcomer groups to keep an eye on in 2024′ in an announcement made earlier this year.
