The cast includes Eun Chae Ni (Park Eun Bin), a bright but unpredictable woman, and Lee Woon-Jung (Cha Eunwoo), a socially awkward civil servant from Seoul. Their neighbors, Son Kyeong Hoon (Choi Dae Hoon) and Kang Ro Bin (Im Sung Jae), also gain quirky powers, forming an unlikely group of heroes.
Directed by Yoo In Sik (Extraordinary Attorney Woo) and written by Huh Da Jung (Extreme Job), filming started in October last year and continued into mid-2025. The Netflix release is planned for next year.
East Palace

He enters the palace to solve the mysterious case but finds a far darker world than he expected. Roh Yoon Seo portrays Saeng Gang, a court lady who can hear ghosts, a power she has long seen as a curse. Using her ability, she assists Gu Cheon in their investigation. Cho Seung Woo plays the King, a ruler with both noble and shadowy sides.
The series is directed by Choi Jung Gyu, known for The Devil Judge, and written by Seo Jae Won and Kwon So Ra, the team behind Bulgasal: Immortal Souls. Filming began in December 2024 and finished in July 2025, with a Netflix release expected in 2026.
Grand Galaxy Hotel

This fantasy-romance drama is set in a mysterious hotel that serves as a resting place for lost souls seeking peace. The story kicks off with the sudden disappearance of the hotel’s previous president.
Lee Do Hyun plays Eun Ha, the new hotel owner who takes over after the manager goes missing. His character is described as moody and carrying a mysterious past. The plot follows his interactions with Ko Sang Sun (played by Shin Shi Ah), the hotel’s only human employee. Sang Sun is brave, professional, and has a unique talent for befriending the ghosts who visit the hotel.
The drama reunites the famous Hong Sisters (known for Hotel Del Luna and Alchemy of Souls) with director Oh Choong Hwan (Start-Up). Production began on September 17, 2025, and is expected to wrap up around April 2026. Considering the filming timeline, the drama is likely to premiere on Netflix in late 2026 or 2027.
Show Business

“Show Business” is set in South Korea’s entertainment industry from the 1960s to the 1980s. It shows how the industry grew and the struggles of those chasing success.
Min Ja (Song Hye Kyo) is a strong and determined woman who enters the music world. Dong Gu (Gong Yoo) is her reckless but loyal childhood friend. Min Hee (Kim Seol Hyun) is Min Ja’s friend but they share a complicated love-hate relationship. Gil Yeo (Cha Seung Won) is a legendary composer who creates stars. Yang Ja (Lee Ha Nee), Min Hee’s mother, dreams of being a singer and overcomes many hardships.
The series is written by Noh Hee Kyung, known for Our Blues and It’s Okay, That’s Love, and directed by the Coffee Prince director Lee Yoon Jung. This is the third time Noh Hee Kyung and Song Hye Kyo have worked together. Filming started in December 2024 and will continue until December 2025. The show is expected to release globally on Netflix in the second half of 2026.
Boyfriend on Demand

“Boyfriend on Demand” stars BLACKPINK’s Jisoo as Seo Mi Rae, an overworked webtoon producer whose busy schedule has left her with no time for love. Her life takes a surprising turn when she discovers a device called “Monthly Boyfriend.” It is a subscription-based virtual reality dating program that lets her experience romance with a series of ideal, computer-generated men.
In real life, Mi Rae has to deal with her colleague and rival Park Kyeong Nam (played by Seo In Guk), a talented but cold-hearted producer.
The series is directed by Kim Jung Sik, and filming has already wrapped. According to lead star Seo In Guk, the show is now in post-production. “Boyfriend on Demand” is expected to premiere on Netflix in February 2026.
The Rat

“The Rat” revolves around Mun Jae, a reclusive novelist who lives alone and avoids the outside world because of his severe social phobia. It starts when his phone’s fingerprint recognition suddenly stops working, and the one friend who handled all his personal affairs disappears without a trace.
Mun Jae soon discovers that someone known only as “The Rat” has stolen his identity, his name, and even his fortune. He has no way to prove who he really is and no one left to help him. So, he sets out to find the mysterious imposter and take his life back.
In his search, he crosses paths with No Ja (played by Sul Kyung Gu), a loan shark who also runs a private detective agency and is willing to do almost anything for money. By coincidence, No Ja has been trying to track down Mun Jae for three years because of an unpaid debt. When Mun Jae suddenly appears and asks for help to uncover the Rat’s identity, No Ja sees a chance to finally get his money back and joins him.

“Variety” starring Son Ye Jin dives into the dark, competitive side of the K-pop industry. Son Ye Jin plays Sae Eun, the confident and ambitious CEO of South Korea’s biggest entertainment agency. She is the one who created the country’s top idol group from the ground up. She faces a major crisis as the group’s contract is about to expire. Desperate to keep them under her company, Sae Eun starts making bold and risky decisions that could cost her everything.
Her life takes a dangerous turn when she encounters Seung Hee (played by Jo Yu Ri), a fan whose love for her idols turns into obsession. Seung Hee will do anything to get close to her favorite stars, even if it means crossing dangerous lines. The show is written and directed by Kim Yong Hoon, who also made Netflix’s hit Mask Girl, so viewers can expect a stylish and intense story.
Filming started in July and will continue until February 2026, with a planned release on Netflix in late 2026 or early 2027.
Take Charge of My Heart

Her body emits electrical currents, which makes it impossible for her to touch others without shocking them. She has spent her whole life unable to hold hands with someone she loves.
Bo Bae’s electrical energy recharges his artificial heart. Realizing this, Ho Rang offers her an unusual contract that brings them together. Based on a popular web novel and directed by Park Soo Won, Take Charge of My Heart is currently in production and is expected to premiere worldwide in late 2026 or early 2027.
The Art of Sarah

Jang Tae Ha (Jung Hae In) was once a rising boxing champion, but after falling in with a gang, his life took a dark turn. There, he meets Go Eun Sae (Ha Young), a smart, ambitious prosecutor who is investigating a crime syndicate when an accident leaves her with complete amnesia.
She wakes up in this rural village full of traditional yeot (Korean taffy) shops, and Tae Ha shows up claiming to be her boyfriend. For Eun Sae, the village and the man who says he loves her become the only pieces of a life she can’t remember. For Tae Ha, the lie is his chance to protect the woman he once loved, and maybe win her heart again.
“Lovestuck” cast was officially confirmed in May, and the filming is expected to proceed through much of the year, and the release is anticipated in 2026.
Made in Korea

“Made in Korea” is a period political drama and crime thriller set in South Korea during the turbulent 1970s. The story revolves around the fierce rivalry between two powerful men with opposing goals. Their clash eventually leads to a major incident that will change both of their lives forever.
Baek Ki Tae, played by Hyun Bin, is a man driven by an intense ambition for wealth and power. Opposite him is Jang Geon Young, played by Jung Woo Sung, a determined prosecutor who is willing to risk everything to stop Ki Tae.
The series is directed by Woo Min Ho and co-written by Park Eun Gyo and Park Joon Suk. It is planned as a two-season series on Disney+ under the Hulu content hub. The 6-episode first season is expected to premiere in December 2025, while the second season, also six episodes, is planned for 2026.
The Remarried Empress

Filming for “The Remarried Empress” is currently in progress and is expected to finish soon. Reports show that principal photography began in late May or early June. The series is now set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026, as confirmed by the streaming service.
Gold Land

Gold Land is an upcoming Korean crime thriller starring Park Bo Young, set to premiere on Disney+ in 2026. Filming is scheduled to take place from June to December 2025.

Her quiet life changes overnight after she accidentally ends up with gold bars belonging to a smuggling organization. The twist comes through her boyfriend, Lee Do Kyung (Lee Hyun Wook), an airline co-pilot who secretly draws her into the scheme.
At first, Hee Joo is frightened and unsure of what to do. She becomes greedy as she realizes the value of what she’s holding. The gold becomes both her greatest temptation and her biggest danger.
Along the way, she crosses paths with Jang Wook (Kim Sung Cheol), a small-time gangster who discovers she has the gold and pretends to help her. Detective Kim Jin-man (Kim Hee won) begins investigating the smuggling case. Executive Park (Lee Kwang Soo), a casino manager, is linked to the operation.
Delusion

Set in 1935 Gyeongseong, the story follows Yun Yi Ho (Kim Seon Ho), a struggling painter who is hired by Madam Song Jeong Hwa (Suzy) to paint her portrait.
Yi Ho expects to meet an old, reclusive woman, but when he finally sees her, she appears young and breathtakingly beautiful. Strangely, she asks him to paint her as an elderly woman. While working on the portrait, Yi Ho discovers a chilling letter left behind by the previous artist that reads, “Don’t finish the portrait.”
Soon, he realizes something is terribly wrong. Word on the street is that Madam Song might not be human, and that every artist who’s painted her has met a dark fate.
Filming for Delusion started in April, though the production has already had its share of challenges. The team initially planned to shoot parts of the series in China, but later dropped the idea.
Delusion is set to premiere worldwide on Disney+ in 2026. The exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, but production is moving ahead as planned.
A Shop For Killers Season 2

“A Shop for Killers” Season 2 is in production, with new twists, bigger action, and a fresh set of enemies waiting for Ji An.
The new season picks up right after the shocking ending of Season 1. In the final episode, Jeong Jin Man (Lee Dong Wook), long believed to be dead, makes his unexpected return. The story continues to follow his niece, Ji An (Kim Hye Jun), as she tries to survive in the dangerous world her uncle left behind.
This time, Ji-an faces an even greater threat. A rival organization called Babylon enters the picture. They start a fierce battle with her late uncle’s network, MurtheHelp. Babylon’s leaders, Q (Hyunri) and Jay (Masaki Okada), are a ruthless sibling duo known for their cold strategy.
Filming for Season 2 began in April, following Disney+’s official production announcement later that same month. The team is working on a tight schedule, and the new season is expected to be released globally on Disney+ in 2026.
Most of the main cast from Season 1 will return, including Lee Dong Wook, Kim Hye Jun, Geum Hae Na as Min Hye, Lee Tae Young as Brother, and Kim Min as Pasin. New faces include Jung Yoon Ha, who plays Kusanagi, the top leader of Babylon.
