Kang Yeseo and Mashiro from Kep1er were in tears as they shared their feelings about final activities as members of Kep1er.
Kep1er is dropping their debut Korean full-length album Kep1going On on multiple online music platforms at 6 PM on June 3.
Just before the album drop today, there was a media showcase at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 2 PM.
This album is special as it’s their first and last full-length release with all nine members. After two and a half years, they renewed their contract as an Mnet project group and will carry on as a seven-member group.
Kang Yeseo and Mashiro were not able to extend their contracts. They will wrap up their journey with Kep1er after releasing their initial full-length album and performing a concert in Japan in July.
At the media showcase, Yeseo reflected on her journey as a Kep1er member, “The time I spent with the members as Kepler was a fun memory, and although there may have been some shortcomings, I think we did our best for everyone and continued our album activities based on mutual trust.”
She also made everyone emotional saying that they’re nine sisters.
On the other hand, Mashiro shared, “I have many good memories together under the name Kepler. My goal is to show a better side of myself in this activity as well.”
It is an emotional moment for Kep1er members and fans as they’ll be saying goodbye to two members as their activity period set to conclude in July.
