Kep1er Xiaoting is bidding farewell to her individual agency in China, TOPCLASS Entertainment.
On January 1, the Chinese K-pop star personally shared the news with her fans in a lengthy post.
She began by saying, “From an ignorant college student to an entertainment industry practitioner, I keep learning, exploring, and always try my best to treat every job. Because I carry the endless love of fans, and because I do not want to live up to every performance and do not want to slack off on every stage, difficulties that I felt unbearable at first have been overcome one by one, and just like this, “possibility” has become a reality little by little.”
Xiaoting further revealed that her contract expired with her Chinese agency, “Now, my cooperation with TOPCLASS Entertainment has expired.”
She thanked the staff, “Thank you TOPCLASS Entertainment, thank you everyone who has supported and helped me along the way, and thank you for not giving up. Most importantly, thank you to my fans for giving me the greatest strength in my difficult times.”
Xiaoting manages her group activities under WakeOne and KLAP Entertainment, whereas TOPCLASS Entertainment is responsible for looking after solo endeavors and activities in China.
Previously, fans criticized her Korean and Chinese labels when she did not participate in any group activities in December 2024. WakOne Entertainment released a statement stating that she can not participate in any activities due to her activities in China.
In response, TOPCLASS revealed that they never interfere with her group’s schedule. Her activities in China were scheduled and they informed the Korean label in advance.
On another note, Kep1er will kick off their fan-con tour in early February with two shows in Seoul.
