After taking over Cannes 2024, Love in the Big City made a splash at the 49th Toronto International Film Festival!
Kim Go Eun and Noh Sang Hyun walked the red carpet for Love in the Big City premiere at TIFF 2024 on September 13.
In particular, Kim Go Eun surprised everyone by debuting a stunning pixie cut at the film festival. On the other hand, Noh Sang Hyun walked the red carpet in a classic black formal attire.
Following its world premiere at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in May, the movie has now made its North American debut at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Love in the Big City follows the story of roommates Jae Hee (Kim Go Eun) and Heung Soo (Noh Sang Hyun) who are tired of people thinking they’re more than friends.
They are both misfits in Seoul, where fitting in is important. Jae Hee has always been different and doesn’t care what others think. Heung Soo, on the other hand, wants to keep his true self hidden.
When Jae Hee accidentally discovers his secret, they start a special bond. As they navigate love, identity, and growing up in the city, they face many challenges.
After the premiere, the cast of the movie attended the Q&A where they interacted with fans and the press.
A second screening of Love in the Big City has been added on September 15 at the TIFF Lightbox Theater.
Following its successful premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival, the film will also receive a nationwide theatrical release on October 2.
