The Price of Confession Cast

Netflix has confirmed the production of the upcoming mystery thriller drama, The Price of Confession, boasting an all-star cast.

After Song Hye Kyo and Han Sohee left the cast lineup, Netflix announced a new cast for The Price of Confession on July 30, featuring Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Go Eun, Jin Sun Kyu, and Park Hae Soo.

The Price of Confession is a mystery thriller that delves into the story of Yoon-soo (Jeon Do Yeon), accused of her husband’s murder, and Mo-eun (Kim Go Eun), an enigmatic figure known as a witch, as they navigate a web of secrets.

The Price of Confession is directed by Lee Jung Hyo, known for his work on Doona!, Crash Landing on You, Life on Mars, and other hit dramas.

The screenplay is written by Kwon Jong-kwan, who directed and wrote the screenplays for Proof of Innocence, S Dairy, and Sad Movie.

Jeon Do Yeon plays Ahn Yoon-soo, a woman whose life is turned upside down when she is accused of her husband’s murder. She must fight to clear his name and uncover the truth behind his suspicious death.

Kim Go Eun plays Mo-eun, a mysterious woman who can read people’s thoughts and motivations. Dubbed a ‘witch’ by inmates, she approaches Ahn Yoon-soo, who is in a desperate situation and offers help.

Park Hae Soo stars as Baek Dong-hoon, a highly skilled and confident prosecutor with a perfect track record. He is known for his calm and composed demeanor, but his investigation into the secrets of Ahn Yoon-soo and Mo-eun will challenge his beliefs and integrity.

Jin Sun Kyu plays Jang Jeong-goo, a tough and determined lawyer who used to be a boxer. He takes on Ahn Yoon-soo’s case, determined to prove her innocence in her husband’s murder.

Initially, The Price of Confession had a different cast lineup. Song Hye Kyo and Han Sohee were considered, but didn’t join. Director Shim Na Yeon was also attached, but left the project. Now, the series is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix soon.
